Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®)

Functional Range Conditioning® (FRC®) is a mobility training system utilized by Dr. Michael Melander and Jeremy Dupont LMT.  FRC® evaluates and subsequently addresses discrepancies between flexibility (how much range of motion one has) and mobility (how well does one control their range of motion).  FRC® creates usable range of motion, joint strength/resiliency, and increased body control.

Graston Technique®

Graston Technique® is a patented soft-tissue injury treatment system utilized by the chiropractors at Treatment Training Wellness.  Graston Technique® involves a provider utilizing an instrument to massage tissue and evaluate for the presence of adhesion/scar tissue.  This “instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization” promotes blood flow to tissue, improves range of motion, and ultimately help to decrease pain.

Graston Technique® is commonly used at Treatment Training Wellness to treat neck pain, tennis/golfer’s elbow, and shoulder pain. Call Treatment Training Wellness today at 617 266 6810 and schedule a Graston Technique® session with Dr. Michael Melander or Dr. Keith Wade!

Active Release Techniques® (ART®)

Active Release Techniques® (ART®) is a patented soft-tissue injury treatment system utilized by multiple providers at Treatment Training Wellness.  ART® is unique to other soft-tissue treatment systems given its specificity and efficiency in managing all-manner of muscular, ligamentous, fascial, and joint capsular dysfunction.  ART® can also be impactful in assessing/treating nerve entrapments.  An ART® session involves a provider evaluating soft-tissue hands-on and assessing for the presence of textural changes (IE: scar tissue/adhesion) and aberrant movement (IE: loss of range of motion) of the tissue.  The ART® provider will then treat the tissue utilizing protocols specific to the targeted/involved tissue.

ART® is commonly used to treat conditions such as: neck pain/headaches, hip or shoulder bursitis, shoulder rotator cuff injuries, tennis/golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, “piriformis syndrome”, sciatica, shin splints, plantar fasciosis, achilles tendonosis, and many more!
